　属についての記述「体は適度に太っている」に対応しているか。

　日本の亜種は，C. l. confusa (Bremer, 1861)。「不明瞭な，混乱している」。原記載によれば，Artaxa atomaria Walker（Dasychira dorsipennata，北米に分布）との類似から。
